How to do most everything involving membership
Many Federation members have asked, "How do I start a new club". Once you have at least 6 people together that have the desire to start a Bass Club you need to do the actual paperwork. There are actually two steps to becoming a Club.
Here are the steps to take when forming a new club:
1. Contact B.A.S.S.
2. Contact Michigan Bass Federation Nation
| Some points of information: There are Four MBCF Presidents meetings a year. The meetings are usually held in October, December, March and April. Club Rosters and dues are due at the December meeting. To be eligible for the State Championship a club must be represented at least two of the four Presidents meetings and have their dues paid at the December Presidents meeting. This excludes clubs that chartered after the December meeting. The final roster is due June 1st, it will determine the members of the chapter eligible to fish the State Championship. |
