| The location for the 2010
Michigan Bass Federation State Championship was
discussed, voted on and announced at the recent
Federation Presidents meeting. Muskegon has
been chosen as our location. Several prospects
were discussed and after unsuccessfully trying to
work with the venues we decided on this location.
The date has been set for sometime, September 23-26
is set for this years Championship. Watch for
further information to come. The 2010 State
Championship Rules were also voted on at the meeting
and may be seen
here. |
| 2010 JUNIOR STATE
CHAMPIONSHIP |
The location for the Michigan Bass
Federation Junior State Championship has also been
determined. Cass Lake was chosen this year by Barry
Narrin, one of the Youth Directors. The tournament is
set for July 17th. We are looking forward to having
another successful tournament. The 2010 Junior State
Championship rules and Junior Bass Master program guidelines
are available on line
here for review.
2009
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
REPORT
The 2009 Michigan BASS
Federation State Championship was a big success. We
had 126 anglers fish the first day and 122 anglers fish the
second day. Most everyone brought fish to the scale,
even with a tough bite happening at Lake St. Clair.
There were still some anglers who managed to bring in almost
18 pounds each day. The Michigan BASS Crew of volunteers
worked hard to resolve some of the delays and get everyone
out as soon as we could both days. The results are all
posted if you would like to see them.
